As Belfast Harbour continues to play a vital role within communities here in Belfast, and the surrounding areas, we want to help the organisations and charities which make a positive impact in their own communities.
THE 2025 COMMUNITY AWARDS ARE NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS!
£100,000 will be available for grassroots, community-led organisations across Northern Ireland in 2025.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be available for community-led charities, volunteering organisations and community groups delivering activity positively impacting the environment, education and skills and bringing the community together.

The Community Awards are part of Belfast Harbour’s ongoing commitment to advance prosperity and create vibrant places and communities by supporting the work of grassroots and charitable organisations across Northern Ireland.
“We are delighted that Belfast Harbour supported us through their last round of Community Awards, providing funding towards a new safety boat and essential maintenance work to be carried out on our wheelchair accessible boat Sea Rover. This enabled us to host 17 group visits involving 122 participants as well as our family-focussed weekly open sessions.
