Belfast Harbour Dragons compete in Prince’s Trust Million Makers Challenge
Employees within Belfast Harbour are taking part in the Prince’s Trust Million Makers Corporate Challenge. The recently formed Harbour Dragons will be competing against other corporate teams across Northern Ireland to raise £1m in the UK to support the Prince’s Trust in their efforts to help the most vulnerable youth people in our society. Other teams taking part include staff from Parker Green International, FPM and Sainsburys.
Each corporate team has been tasked with attempting to raise £10,000 in aid of the Million Makers Programme. Belfast Harbour Dragons have constructed a number of fundraising events in the coming months which they hope will raise and exceed the target.
The Prince’s Trust
A youth charity, the Prince’s Trust helps change the lives of young people within our community aged 14-30 who have struggled at school, have been in care, who have been in trouble with the law or are long-term unemployed. The Trust gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as motivation and confidence.
How can you help?
To support the Dragon’s fundraising events, we would like to call upon all members of the Port Community – Tenants, Customers, Suppliers and staff to support our efforts in any way they can whether it is in attending the events or offering donations to the cause.
