Belfast Harbour’s real estate land holding extends to some 2,000 acres, strategically located at the focal point of the city’s transport infrastructure. This land bank represents some 20% of the Belfast City area.

Belfast Harbour - Tide Tables

The Marina can handle recreational vessels up to 25m LOA and a maximum draught of 3.7m. Vessels greater than 3.7m draught or 25m length overall wishing to visit Belfast should contact the Harbour Master’s Office prior to arrival.

History & Heritage

2022 marks the 175th anniversary of establishment of Belfast Harbour Commissioners however, the origins of the Belfast Port can be traced back to 1613, when, during the reign of James I, the town was incorporated as a borough by royal charter, with provision for the establishment of a wharf or quay.
